Case studies and Clinical Evaluations
Most of our work focuses on research trials, but our member practices are also happy to participate in case studies, market access work and in-service evaluations.
In-service evaluations are often used for medical device studies to generate evidence for drug tariff reimbursement. With evidence now being required in the setting of use in the UK, NHS primary care providers are ideally placed to conduct these evaluations.
Some of our member practices have heavier caseloads or specialist clinicians in certain medical areas, so we allocate these evaluations accordingly. These facilitate the timeliest completion of evaluations, as well as having key opinion leaders as lead authors.

Our GP practices include some of the UK’s most pre-eminent doctors and researchers. They don’t want their names plastered on websites, but do ask if you are wanting someone in particular… or to work with GPs with specialist interests. We cannot overstate how amazing the teams behind the PCRA are!
