Daphne is a West Sussex GP with a special interest in clinical research in primary care and wound care. Daphne was the idea behind formalising the network of practices who were were together on studies into the Primary Care Research Alliance and the benefits this offers sponsors, GPs, and communities.

Chief Financial Officer
Steve is a qualified accountant who trained with Deloitte. Steve brings to us over 20 years high intensity experience working for UK and international business including in the life sciences sector. He is the lead in finance and contracts with every client , and his expertise and experience make him a trusted leader known for facilitating collaboration.

Dr Nick Sheppard is a practicing research lead GP in West Sussex and the operational lead and representative for alliance members.
Simon de Lusignan
Professor of Primary Care and Clinical Informatics
Professor Simon de Lusignan is Professor of Primary Care and Clinical Informatics at the University of Oxford and a practicing GP with extensive expertise in primary care research and clinical trials. Professor de Lusignan leads the Clinical Informatics and Health Outcomes Research Group at Oxford and has developed innovative digital platforms for supporting clinical trials and research in primary care settings. He brings a unique combination of academic leadership, clinical practice, and deep understanding of primary care research.
