As we approach the end of 2024, we at PCRAlliance are thrilled to reflect on a year filled with growth, innovation, and collaboration. Here are some of the highlights:

  1. Welcoming New Practices: We are delighted to have welcomed 12 new practices to PCRAlliance. These practices have already started participating in our research projects and activities, bringing fresh insights and experiences to our network1.
  2. Training and Development: Our PCRAlliance Certificate of Training Program has been a great success. This six-week program provided primary care researchers with essential knowledge and skills to conduct clinical trials in primary care settings. Participants received their Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certificates and engaged in interactive sessions and practical exercises2.
  3. Research and Collaboration: Throughout the year, our members have actively engaged in various research projects, contributing to the advancement of primary care research in the UK. We continue to offer our members access to funded opportunities, training and support, peer learning and collaboration, and advocacy and representation1.
  4. Community and Support: We have strengthened our community by fostering peer learning and collaboration among our members. Our newsletters have been a valuable resource, keeping everyone informed about the latest developments and opportunities within PCRAlliance1.

As we look forward to 2025, we remain committed to improving the quality and impact of primary care research. Thank you to all our members for your dedication and hard work. Together, we are making a difference!
